RED’s role was to re-invigorate the campus for a new generation of students, enhancing and unifying the buildings and spaces already part of the school masterplan by creating an ambitious new centre for primary and early learning students.
A
multi-purpose pavilion is activated by children working or playing whilst supervised
by their teachers, and often joined by parents who want to participate in the
learning experience.
Light-weight
timber structures frame the space, whilst patterned tiles create a relaxed
ambience and define the various zones which include food and hospitality
spaces.
Furniture
was carefully selected to suit active young people along with durable surfaces
that are easy to clean and bright clean colours that create excitement.
The Cognita
campus brings together an international flavour and a Vietnamese design
aesthetic.
Above all
it is a great space which takes education to a new level where kids can really
enjoy the learning experience.
